Motion
Story Post: "The first motion that comes to mind is rafting.
It is very much like the little red wagon experiment.
You are in the raft on the river. At any time
all three things are in motion but the directions and speeds of
the three objects can be very different.
You
speed up, slow down, crash, and during those blessed quiet parts
of the river stay at a slow constant speed. I
know when you are watching the rafts they don't seem to be going
at such a fast pace as when you are in the raft!
What always puzzles me is the way that you are
hurled around the raft where one moment you are bouncing high in
the air and the next you find your self wedged under the seat in
front of you!"
